Hello, my name is Stirling MacArthur and I am a proud member of the Snoqualmie Tribe. My Art is inspired by the plants, animals, mountains, and waterways of the Pacific Northwest.
I find my patterns in the observation of seasonal changes and traditions such as the eagles finding a mate in the spring or my family fishing for salmon in the summer. Not only does my inspiration come from the world around me but also through the exploration of new mediums of art. I find that each art form changes how you see the world and thus how you interact with it.
It is my goal to take each of these things that I learn along the way and apply them to my next project with the hopes of creating something timeless that connects with all people.
